Job Description	Responsibilities of a project manager Accountable for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements. Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development. Reviews/approves project plans for conformance to program strategy and program plan and schedule. Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates with the team. Escalates decisions to executive sponsors as necessary. Risk Assessment and tracking Budget administration and procurement Risk assessment Work products tracking and review Technical support liaison Methodology and process support Issues management Client Communications Status reporting management The responsibilities involve setting and reviewing objectives, coordinating activities across projects/releases, and overseeing the integration and reuse of interim work products and results. This person spends more time and effort on integration activities, negotiating changes in plans, and communicating than on the other project management activities we described (e.g., allocating resources, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, etc.). Recruitment, appraisal and development of people. Proactively involved in organization building. Barriers to entry, such as, technical committee review exist at this level. Applies and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Job complexity	Works on significant or unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Role Scope
Accountability & Supervision	Typically manages activities of two or more sections or departments through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods, staffing, and allocated budget. Reports to Associate Program Director or a Program Director.

Job Description:-
The Senior QA Lead Engineer is responsible for overseeing Functional and System testing and will work closely with the QA Managers to drive testing of the product across a wide variety of operating systems and hardware platforms. In addition to overseeing test case scoping, design, and execution, the Senior QA Lead Engineer will also function as an individual contributor for particularly challenging projects and serve as a primary technical point of contact, and mediate software defects with Development.

An exciting opportunity with a company which currently sits among the top line construction companies in the Pune for a Head of Quantity Surveying – Commercial Manager

This central role manages the team of Quantity Surveyors which provides support to the Estimating Department for procedures, sub-contract and contract terms. Responsible for preparing entitlement under NORIS 1 system (tender to construction review) it will also establish and maintain the ongoing relationships with Contractor's or Client's Quantity Surveyors and / or Commercial teams.

The Quantity Surveying Department is accountable for monitoring payment terms, performance and Final Accounts with Finance Department and VAT invoicing, the role of the Quantity Surveyor will also value, submit and agree variations (NORIS, EWN, Compensation Events etc).

You will have an overview of and be expected to resolve contractual issues in conjunction with the Projects Manager and agree the final accounts. There is also overall responsibility for managing Sub-Contractors and Suppliers and monitoring of job costs.

Applicant:
The right candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry (ideally, within the specialist sub-contracting arena) and possess drive and determination for excellence. They will have previous experience of managing teams and a record of success in delivering against deadlines and objectives.
Assertive and persuasive, the candidate should be equally happy dealing with detail as managing supplier relationships.
Ideally qualified with a relevant degree the candidate will have a demonstrable track record of adding value to projects.
